Departed Melbourne at 3:40pm, 28th December and stopper over in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Arrived at 8:40pm and caught an airport taxi to Hotel Capitol. The following day it was about 30°. Our flight to London wasn’t until 11:55pm so filled in the day by wandering the many shopping centers. I was refused service at a money exchange service because I was female (you can imagine how outraged I was). When you go at Easter time June bug, I suggest you exchange your money at the post office before going or organise Travelex or an EFTPos card so you can withdraw the local currency yourself.

Chris had a shisha (another anti female activity) before having dinner at a little restaurant on the sidewalk. Meals were about $1 each. They did excellent rice and noodles and also banana roti.
