We caught the tube to Victoria on Friday morning then boarded the Southern Rail to Brighton (about an hour journey). It was pouring when we arrived which made the 15min walk with luggage to the hotel interesting. It was clear blue sky (a nice change from grey London) the rest of our stay.
We stayed at the Royal Albion, a big hotel overlooking the pier.
A wedding was held in the function room which shared a wall with our bedroom, after complaining we were later upgraded to this…

Had seafood on the pier
Walked along the beach
Had fish and chips on the beach
Went to Royal Pavilion
